Declaration of Dividend
On January 19, 2011, Brookline Bancorp, Inc. announced its earnings for the 2010 fourth quarter and approval by its Board of Directors of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.085 per share payable February 15, 2011 to stockholders of record on January 31, 2011. See Exhibit 99.1 attached hereto for the press release issued January 19, 2011 relating to these matters.
