ITEM 7.01   Regulation FD Disclosure.

          On January 13, 2011, DRI Corporation announced in a press release that the Company’s Digital Recorders, Inc. subsidiary in Durham, N.C., has been awarded a combined, region-wide contract valued at approximately $1.2 million by Triangle Transit Authority (“TTA”) and Durham Area Transit Authority (“DATA”), both based in The Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.
