Item 8.01  Other Events.

On January 13, 2011 at the ICR XChange Conference in Dana Point, CA, Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. (“the Company”) confirmed that it closed eight full-priced stores in 2010 and that it would be closing nine more full-priced stores, including its Rockefeller Center flagship, by April 2011.  The Company indicated that on March 1, 2011 during its regularly scheduled earnings call it would provide additional details about estimated closing expenses and expected operational savings.
