Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 10, 2011, MAKO Surgical Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release, furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Form 8-K by reference, announcing the number of RIO® Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic Systems sold, the number of MAKOplasty® procedures performed, and the average monthly utilization per commercial site during the quarter ended December 31, 2010 and the total number of systems sold, procedures performed and average monthly utilization during 2010.
