| Item 7.01 | Regulation FD Disclosure. |
On January 7, 2011, Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing an extension on the loan maturity date associated with the Hotel Del Coronado until February 9, 2011. The Company owns a 45% interest in the partnership that owns the hotel with affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and KSL Resorts. A copy of the press release announcing the extension is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
