On January 5, 2011, the Board of Directors of Ikanos Communications, Inc. (the “Company”) elected R. Douglas Norby to the Board of Directors. Mr. Norby was elected as a Class III director and also named to the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. In connection with the election, Mr. Norby will receive the same compensation currently paid to the Company’s non-employee directors as described in its proxy statement filed in connection with the 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
