Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On December 22, 2010, Rent-A-Center, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the acquisition of The Rental Store, Inc., a leading provider of consumer lease-purchase financing through third-party retail furniture and electronics retailers. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
