ITEM 8.01
 Other Events.
 
On December 17, 2010, PGT, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the acquisition of the intellectual property assets of Hurricane Window and Door Technologies of Fort Myers, FL.  With this acquisition, PGT acquired, among other things, all of the intellectual property underlying its PremierVueTM line of vinyl impact-resistant windows and doors for the single- and multi-family residential markets. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing this acquisition is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is hereby incorporated by reference.
