On December 10, 2010, Yvette McGee Brown, a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of M/I Homes, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of her intention to resign as a director effective as of January 1, 2011 as a result of her appointment by Ohio Governor Ted Strickland to serve as a justice of the Ohio Supreme Court beginning on such date.
