On November 17, 2010, WESCO International, Inc. issued a press release announcing that WESCO
Distribution, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TVC Communications, L.L.C. from
Palisades Associates. A copy of the press release is included in Exhibit 99.1 to this report and
is being furnished in accordance with Regulation FD of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
