Item 8.01      Other Events

     Effective October 20^th, 2010, Revett Minerals completed its debt restructuring efforts eliminating its long-term note payable to Trafigura AG. As part of the Company’s 2009 debt restructuring agreement, Trafigura exercised 10,000,000 warrants for Revett Minerals common shares, Revett has used the proceeds to repay in full the remaining US$2,000,000 owed to Trafigura AG.
