Termination of a Material Definitive Agreement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On September 24, 2010, Regent Technologies, Inc., received confirmation that executive management of MacuCLEAR, Inc. has rejected the purchase offer from Healthcare of Today, Inc. The rejection terminates the previous agreement by our subsidiary, Regent GLSC Technologies, Inc., to sell its shares of MacuCLEAR Series A Preferred Stock to Healthcare of Today. MacuCLEAR is making plans to move forward with its Phase II clinical trial for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration with alternative funding.
