On September 2, 2010, First State Bancorporation issued a press release announcing today that its subsidiary, First Community Bank, is in direct discussions with potential investors regarding a potential investment directly in the Bank. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
