On Tuesday, August 31, 2010, Gary E. McCullough, President and Chief Executive Officer of Career Education Corporation (the “Registrant”), participated in a forum on for-profit education hosted by Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and held at the Dirksen Federal Building, 219 South Dearborn Street in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. McCullough’s remarks are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and the information contained therein is incorporated herein by reference.
