On
August 11, 2010, Jaime Cohen Szulc, Chief Marketing Officer

Levi’s® of Levi Strauss & Co. (the
“Company”), notified the Company that he is resigning from that position, effective August 31, 2010. In connection with his
departure, the Company will pay to Mr. Szulc $1,516,125. Lawrence W. Ruff, Senior Vice President
and Chief Strategy Officer, will assume responsibilities for the
role until a successor is selected.
