On June 3, 2010, Fairmount Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the newly formed holding company for Fairmount Bank, a federally chartered savings bank, located in the Rosedale area of Baltimore County, Maryland (the “Bank”), issued a press release announcing completion of the Bank’s mutual-to-stock conversion and the Company’s initial public offering of shares of its common stock. The closing of the transaction occurred on June 2, 2010.
