Filing of Monthly Operating Report for the Period Ended April 30, 2010
On May 20, 2010, The Colonial BancGroup, Inc. (the Company) filed its monthly operating report for the period April 1, 2010 through April 30, 2010 (the April Monthly Operating Report) with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama, Northern Division.

The April Monthly Operating Report is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
