ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On April 26, 2010, United Western Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that the Annual Meeting of Shareholders originally scheduled to be held on May 13, 2010 has been rescheduled to July 30, 2010. The record date of March 10, 2010 for the determination of shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the Annual Meeting has been changed to May 31, 2010. The Company chose to reschedule the Annual Meeting to better accommodate shareholder schedules and encourage shareholder participation in the Annual Meeting.
