Attached are the combined special-purpose statements of selected assets, selected liabilities and parent funding of Verizon Communications Inc.’s (“Verizon”) Separate Telephone Operations, a combination of Arizona and Nevada carved-out of Verizon California Inc.; Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin carved-out of Verizon North Inc.; Illinois, North Carolina and South Carolina carved-out of Verizon South Inc.; Verizon Northwest Inc., Contel of the South, Inc., Verizon West Virginia Inc. and carved-out components of Verizon Long Distance LLC, Verizon Enterprise Solutions LLC and Verizon Online LLC as of December 31, 2009 and 2008, and the related combined statements of income, parent funding, and cash flows for each of the three years in the period ended December 31, 2009. Also included are Summary Historical Combined Financial Data of Verizon’s Separate Telephone Operations and Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations of Verizon’s Separate Telephone Operations.
