Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 22, 2010, Eagle Bancorp (the “Company”), announced that Eagle Bancorp Montana, Inc., the proposed holding company for American Federal Savings Bank, commenced the syndicated community offering portion of the second step conversion to sell shares of common stock not subscribed for in the subscription offering or
the community offering. A copy of the press release dated March 22, 2010 is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
