Item 7.01.  Regulation FD Disclosure.

Tony Shen, Chief Financial Officer of China BAK Battery, Inc. (the “Company”), plans to present the materials attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K on February 9, 2010 and at certain subsequent times during the week of February 8, 2010 to selected investors in New York, Boston, San Francisco, and will present the materials in London, Frankfurt, Zurich, and Rome to selected investors during the second half of February 2010.  In these activities, Mr. Shen will present the Company’s business strategies and progress in the New-Energy/Clean-Tech sector. Cowen & Company will facilitate the road shows.
