Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 20, 2010, State Street Corporation issued a news release announcing its results of operations and related financial information for the fourth quarter of 2009. A copy of that news release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1, and is incorporated herein by reference.
In addition, a copy of a slide presentation pertaining to State Street’s investment portfolio as of December 31, 2009, which will be referenced in connection with the investor conference call to be held by State Street on January 20, 2010, is furnished with this 8-K as Exhibit 99.2.
